Laser Operator – Piedmont, SC
Southwark Metal Manufacturing – Piedmont is hiring an experienced Laser Operator!
Essential Functions/Duties:
Operates the laser cutting machine and other machinery in the production process and assists other machine operators.
Has an understanding of laser machine operation.
Performs regular maintenance on the machine.
Works with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
Works in a fast-paced environment with fast-changing priorities.
Follows all safety rules and quality standards.
Follows all company rules and policies.
Qualifications:
Six (6) months or more of related experience and or specialized training.
Ability to verify the measurement of materials.
Mechanical aptitude required.
Must have good communication, organizational, and cross-training skills.
