LAUNDRY AIDE, Full Time – Generations at Oakton Pavillion, Des Plaines, ILLINOIS
Generations at Oakton Pavillion in Des Plaines, IL, Seeks a Full Time Laundry Aide. The ideal candidate can work evenings, 2:30-10:30pm.

Responsibilities of the Laundry Aide:
- Wash, dry, fold, iron, distribute or deliver linen or residents' clothing
- Sorts laundry by color, fabric, type, etc., pre-soak as appropriate
- Fold and stack dried items in proper order
- Iron items as necessary
- Clean and disinfect floors, appliances, folding tables, delivery carts and other laundry areas
- Ensure proper storage of supplies
- Identify and correct any safety hazards
Laundry Aide:
- Some experience with commercial laundry preferred
- Experience in a long-term care or healthcare laundry department a plus
- Must be able to speak, read and understand English
- Personable and professional with staff and residents
- Must be able to pass a background check
