We're currently seeking an Attorney with responsibilites include appearing in Court; drafting motions and other pleadings; communicating with clients; and drafting status reports. The position requires someone who can work both independently and collaboratively. This is a good opportunity for an attorney desiring to become involved in various matters from the initial investigation through final trial and appeal. Our twenty-attorney firm is in Farmingdale, NY represents clients throughout the Five Boroughs and Long Island. We offer exveptional professional growth and development opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret legal data.
- Examine and evaluate laws, legal codes, and precedents.
- Serve as the client's advocate and make recommendations to represent the client's best interests in a given situation.
- Summarize the facts of a case.
- Communicate with other professionals to discuss case issues and strategies.
- Communicate with clients and defend their rights.
- Write briefs, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents;.
- Conduct legal research.
- Hold hearings and trials;.
- Interpret laws and constitutional provisions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
