Job Summary:

We are looking for a Lead Data Product Manager, who will act as our data expert in the Guest/Consumer compliance space. You will be the main point of contact in the Data Products & Platforms (DPP) organization for privacy, legal, and data governance teams to ensure the adherence of Guest data related policies. You will ensure the accurate implementation of solutions and once implemented, you will own quality monitoring solutions which confirm continued adherence.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish a deep understanding of permission and consent related data collection practices across Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products and act as the expert for this data space
  • Connect with partners and industry related updates to stay informed of new privacy laws and regulations, assess their impact to the data space and resolve changes
  • Develop Guest data privacy standards that will ensure data compliance is accounted for within the technical design of new data solutions and revisions of existing solution
  • Partner with various DPP data studio teams to implement Guest data compliance standards and approaches
  • Develop the approach towards an ongoing review process and automate scan procedures to ensure ongoing compliance

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of in-depth experience in consumer data privacy and data protection, risk management, or compliance
  • 6+ years of proven experience in leading the data approach for solutions that support data privacy
  • Expertise in data and technology concepts, strategies, and methodologies and their application to delivery
  • Confirmed knowledge of Agile and project delivery methodologies and tools and technology standards

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in technology discipline or related field

Preferred Education:

  • Masters degree in technology discipline or related field

The hiring range for this position is $142,106.00 to $209,660.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
