Door-Lead Position

Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee all door production
- Supervise the work of production staff. Establish priorities & adjust as needed to changes in customer demand or equipment downtime
- Hold employees accountable for expected performance, recognize good performance, and follow progressive discipline process when expectations are not met
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Maintain area housekeeping level
- Help determine quality standards for both upstream processes and finished product, and maintain performance to standards
- Working closely with Maintenance Department on machine issues.
- Attending and participation in weekly production meetings.
- Conduct initial safety training for new team members and document. Ensure operations training is conducted by a knowledgeable employee for new employees and for established employees when assigned to new equipment.
- Read production paperwork to understand processing steps required
- Record keeping of Production output
- Ability to perform different operator tasks as directed by supervision based on customer demand
Qualifications/Skills:
- Excellent attitude & Enthusiastic personality.
- Ability and willingness to train and develop others.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 to 5 years Manufacturing Experience
- Experience managing people
