We are Recourse Communications Inc. and we match top talent with the best opportunities. As our client’s Product Development Manager you will manage and coordinate product development projects, evaluating and resolving technical feasibility, design optimization, and production issues as well as ensuring that labeling and marketing/promotional literature match product specifications. It will be your responsibility to understand the complete process. You will monitor the existing client base and industry developments identifying potential new product opportunities. Working with other departments, you will establish design, technology, product development, and vendor strategy. In addition, you will manage project budgets and prepares financial analysis reports for top management. You must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures, shape and maintain the ongoing culture of customer-focused innovation and stay abreast of the latest technologies, techniques and best practices. The company will look for you to focus on continuous development as you experiment with new Analogy System sensors and PC boards, and work with software, algorithms, and firmware fixes. Importantly, you will interface with vendors, clients, and other team members on a regular basis.

About You

· Bachelor's in Engineering/Computer Science, Electrical Engineering preferred

· 6+ years of relevant work experience and 1+ year of proven leadership responsibility

· Electronic hardware and firmware domain experience preferred; should be familiar with firmware and hardware

· Sensor and assembly experience

· Professional presence and demeanor in both communication and presentation skills

· Able communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

· Ability to influence within and beyond direct reporting relationships

· Ability to build and sustain trust through relationships with others

· Demonstrate excellent judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions

· Ability to make and meet team commitments

· Ability to travel as needed

· Must be customer oriented
