Vetro Restaurant & Lounge is looking for an experienced Lead hostess / Assistant Floor Manager. Someone with great communication and people skills. The Lead hostess is a senior role in the hospitality industry responsible for providing leadership to a team of hostesses at the restaurant. As the assistant floor manager, you will be providing support to the Restaurant Manager as needed on the floor, communicating with our guests and staff members to ensure we create the best dining experience for our customers. We believe everything a customer remembers starts with great service.
Job Requirements
· Two or more years of experience in Lead Hostess / Assistant Floor Manager
· Interpersonal skills
· Familiarity with relevant software, including Microsoft Office, Salesforce, OpenTable reservation taking software, and the POS system.
· Time management and prioritization skills to meet deadlines.
Job Responsibilities
· Taking and confirming reservations, greeting, and seating guests.
· Sending and receiving mail and other correspondence.
· Perform clerical duties/ administrative task.
· Operating multi-line telephone system to answer incoming calls and directs callers to appropriate personnel.
· Maintain high energy level, attain a positive attitude and capable of multitasking.
· Responsible for open and closing duties, but not limited to performing other responsibilities not mentioned here.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
