The Leader, Finance is a critical member of the FP&A team, a key partner to RH's Technology Team and reports to the Director of Finance. The right individual will be essential in developing accurate forecasts, reporting on business metrics and driving strategic decisions through modeling and analysis. The Leader, Finance will interact regularly with the Chief Technology Officer & other executives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and accelerate visibility into a wide range of metrics for the business.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Annual budget development and monthly forecasts, long-range planning, and on-going reporting vs. forecast primarily for the Technology function
• Support the monthly close process including explanations of monthly variances vs. forecast
• Partner with accounting team to ensure entries are booked timely and accurately
• Analyze monthly & quarterly business results, KPIs, trends, and synthesize results / critical business insights to leadership
• Create, manage and automate operational reports and dashboards to monitor the performance of the business
• Forge meaningful relationships with department heads and become a trusted advisor, highlighting risks, building sensitivity analyses and driving solutions to problems as they arise
• Perform ad-hoc financial modeling and scenario analysis
• Ensure timely delivery and accuracy of monthly financial reporting

OUR REQUIREMENTS

• 5-7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, investment banking, private equity, venture capital or related field
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with VBA a plus
• Exceptional analytical and financial modelling skills
• Strong understanding of financial statements and their interdependencies
• Must be detail-oriented, curious and keen to dig into numbers and variances to propose recommendations and drive improved results
• Able to effectively communicate financial data to senior Leadership and peers
• Knowledge of Essbase / Oracle Planning & Budgeting Cloud and Oracle Financials a plus
