Program Summary

The FLY Leadership Training Program is a ten-month program for youth who are interested and motivated to become changemakers in their communities. Youth are identified based on their support needs, particularly regarding education, legal advocacy, social support, and safety. Leadership and Middle School Programs Coordinator - Position Summary

The Leadership & Middle School Programs Coordinator supports all administrative, organizational and process-related functions of running an effective and efficient Santa Clara County Leadership Training Program and the Middle School Program. This includes providing data-entry support, event planning and coordination, and operations sport to the Santa Clara office as needed. This individual will have a passion for youth service and be able to contribute creatively and effectively to the successful execution of program deliverables.


Position Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate and Leadership Training Program and Middle School Program events/activities and workshops

  • Manage program paperwork and youth data entry into Efforts to Outcomes (ETO) database

  • Produce reports and information packets for each new cohort of youth

  • Conduct Eligibility/Suitability screenings for potential program youth with probation and Parents/Guardians

  • Prepare for Annual Youth Leadership Retreat

  • Prepare materials and supplies for law-related education and Workshops

  • Facilitate Workshops and Middle School Law- Related Education

  • Preparation, training, and facilitation of the Middle School Law-Related Education Curriculum

  • Provide general programmatic and office administrative support


Compensation & Benefits

This position is a full-time role at a rate of $23.04 with differential pay options based on an advanced degree and, when applicable to the role, speaking another language. Our Total Rewards Package also includes the following:
