DevCo is seeking a full-time Learning & Development Specialist to join our team in Bellevue, WA. The Learning & Development Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering learning experiences and programs. Keys to success in this role include liaising with support departments such as Property Management Operations, Marketing, and Human Resources, ensuring execution of learning and development initiatives and goals, and providing expertise for recommending strategies and enhancements to Company business units.

Job Responsibilities
  • Analyzes business needs and recommends appropriate learning solutions; designs develops, and delivers courses with delivery options including instructor-led, webinar, e-learning, and blended learning solutions.
  • Creates implementation processes for initiatives assigned; coordinates the development of materials to ensure branding and messaging consistency; evaluates program effectiveness and commits to continuous improvement based on recorded metrics.
  • Administration of Learning Management System (Yardi Aspire and others) and eLearning distribution to employees to impact KPI’s.
  • Liaises with Operations and Marketing for proper branding and messaging consistency
  • Performs facilitation for onboarding, employee development, performance management, culture, and core competency programs.
  • Builds effective relationships at all levels of the organization to ensure quality learning and development are provided to support business objectives.
  • Works closely with the Learning and Development Manager, subject matter experts, and vendor representatives to identify and execute learning initiatives; develops and maintains project status, program agendas, scheduling, and calendars; consults with the field regarding improvement and new ideas for employee and organizational development.
  • Participate in team meetings. Work collaboratively with other team members to complete projects as assigned.
  • Attend trainings as scheduled and assigned.
  • Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Prior Learning workshop and webinar development experience.
  • Experience building, reading, and analyzing metrics dashboards.
  • Formal classroom facilitation of content, both in-person and virtually.
  • Advanced proficiency in Office 365 applications and Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite preferred.
  • Knowledge of adult learning and instructional design principles.
  • Experience using a variety of needs assessment tools.
  • Experience in rapid e-learning development using authoring tools such as Articulate 360 Suite and Adobe Captivate preferred.
  • LMS Administration experience required. Yardi Aspire experience preferred.
  • Real estate, property management, construction, or maintenance industry experience preferred.
  • Ability to conduct research and apply relevant information to learning programs that support organizational effectiveness.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and effectively prioritize and juggle multiple concurrent projects.
  • Must have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude; dependable and requires minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Results-driven achiever with exemplary planning and organizational skills, along with a high degree of detail orientation.
  • Robust assessment, analytical, critical thinking, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Human Resources, Communication, Business, or related field.
  • Experience in design, development, delivery, and evaluation of training programs preferred.
  • Must be extremely comfortable facilitating at a moment’s notice in front of any sized group, up to, but not limited to 500 people.
  • Experience with webinar or virtual classroom delivery programs. Leadership and organizational development experience preferred.
  • Experience with formal classroom facilitation of content, both in-person and virtually preferred.
  • Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
  • Successful completion of background check and drug screen required.
  • Must be legally qualified to work in the U.S. meeting I-9 guidelines.
