With minimal supervision and substantial latitude for independent judgement and discretion, the LMS Specialist provides technical leadership in support of Clarity University. This position is responsible for the design, development, implementation, delivery, and maintenance of resources used for instructional functions within Knowledge City. The LMS Specialist is the primary system administrator and will oversee the installation of all system updates, upgrades, integrated tools, and other software.
This position resides at company headquarters in Clark, NJ, and will report to the Vice President, Human Resources. The nature of this position requires candidates collaborate and work closely with other team members and cross-functional departments.
JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Supports training by processing information in Knowledge City to include creating classes, completing employee information, entering test scores, registering employees, researching the database for information, reviewing work instructions, and researching system-related issues
  • Works closely with the leadership team to identify needs and obtain information for the development of department-specific trainings within Knowledge City
  • Meets biweekly with the leadership team to ensure trainings are running smoothly and identify areas where improvements need to be made
  • Develops Clarity University trainings for all departments based on 1-1 meetings with the leadership team
  • Works closely with Knowledge City representatives to write, design, and implement trainings
  • Develops testing and evaluation procedures
  • Organizes and conducts orientation sessions for new employees
  • Analyzes training needs to modify and/or improve existing ones
  • Develops and organizes training manuals, visual aids, and other educational materials
  • Maintains records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements
  • Monitors completion of trainings and communicates with employees and their managers if trainings need to be completed or retaken
  • Communicates training deadlines with employees and managers
  • Arranges for ongoing technical training and personal development training for employees
  • Runs reports, validates reports data, and performs data analysis
  • Monitors the success of development plans and helps employees make the most out of their learning opportunities
  • Provides guidance and recommendations for decisions and/or problem resolutions related to Clarity University
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required
  • At least three years’ experience in learning and development and/or training delivery required
  • At least three years’ experience working with a Learning Management System
  • SHRM-CP a plus

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems

Applications:
Proficiency with MS Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook) is required. Experience with Paylocity a plus.
Travel:
Minimal travel to attend training, company meetings, or the Arizona office may be required.
