Legal Word Processor Job at Avata Partners
Avata Partners is seeking an experienced Word Processor for an immediate opening with a law firm in the San Francisco Bay Area. If you enjoy the ebb and flow of complex litigation and working with documents very transactionally, this may be the perfect role for you!
This role offers:
- Competitive salary between $75,000 - $85,000, depending on experience
- Eligibility to enroll in benefits after 30 days of employment
- Hybrid work model after 90 days
- Supportive team environment
Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Provide consistency and excellence in document production and maintenance in the firm’s systems
- Creating and maintaining master captions
- Revising and formatting drafts of reports, documents, and legal correspondence to clients based on notes and voice recordings
- Running conflicts checks for potential new clients and contracts
Our ideal candidate has:
- 2+ years law firm experience (preferably in litigation)
- Experience in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Familiarity with both Blue Book and California citation styles and all federal and California pleading formats
- Familiarity with timekeeping software is a plus!
- Availability for occasional evening and/or weekend overtime
