Job Overview:
The District Success Manager (DSM) will be the main point of contact for the Baltimore County Public Schools. The District Success Manager will coordinate with all internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth implementation of LETRS in the district.
Location: Ideal candidate will reside within driving distance of Towson, MD.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Partner with district leaders to develop a district-level implementation plan to include timeline, cohort design, and action plans to support strategic goals
  • Schedule and facilitate regular progress meetings at the cadence agreed on by stakeholders, making changes to the implementation plan based on meeting outcomes
  • Conduct In-person/Virtual consultation meetings to provide implementation support, based on both the content knowledge presented in the LETRS® Suite and the unique needs in the district for student achievement and sustainability.
  • Arrange mid-year reflection to adjust the implementation plan as needed
  • Facilitate end of the year reflection meeting to review full-year data and deliverables
  • Establish modifications for future years including a survey of participants’ experience across all modalities of LETRS training including online, in-person professional learning, Bridge to Practice activities
  • Organize information sessions about the platform use and knowledge of LETRS course progressions and models
  • Promote professional learning communities and coordinate scheduling of professional learning sessions for all stakeholders including kick-off and make up sessions
  • Schedule pre-training meetings with assigned LETRS facilitators as needed
  • Monitor pacing across the district to ensure maximum license utilization and expected pacing of course completion to align with district expectations, providing regular progress reports
  • Maintain district level FAQ document and monitor all event forms for LETRS professional learning sessions
  • Coordinate with customer success’ operations team in the issuance of login credentials to licensed users and handle all internal and external communication around licenses
  • Gathers rosters for each cohort and ensures set up and maintains attendance records and evaluations
  • Coordinates materials distribution
  • Communicate district needs with assigned LETRS facilitators to align messaging and any specific details around the professional learning needs of the cohorts
  • Ensure all communication between Lexia’s operations and district stakeholders are accurate and complete
  • Communicate with Course manager(s) and keep all district stakeholders informed throughout the year
  • Email upcoming training and online coursework completion reminders to participants before training sessions
  • Listen to identify barriers to implementation, make suggestions for resolving challenges, and respond to stakeholders’ needs
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required, Master’s degree preferred
  • Literacy background required with at least 3 years of elementary or secondary teaching and/or administrative experience
  • At least 5 years of direct client experience in support of customer-facing function (professional learning, customer service, sales)
  • Well-versed in the development and delivery of professional learning for K-12 educators
  • High degree of project management skills and keen attention to detail
  • Understanding of account management and handling customer escalations
  • Adept with technology and quick to learn new technologies and apply solutions
  • Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization and inspire others to action (sales, leadership, fundraising, public service)
  • Solid data analysis skills and background in data-driven instruction
  • Background in the Science of Reading (SOR) research preferred
  • Experience with and/or completion of LETRS preferred
  • Experience with Implementation Science desired
