Support the Hartman Literacy and Learning Center and the Summer Reading Program by assisting the Program Coordinator
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist the Program Coordinator in communicating with partner schools in the summer reading program.
Responsible for daily attendance of students from partner schools, assistance with supervision of children throughout the program day, and ensuring appropriate behavior while on the bus to and from Hartman Center program.
Supports the summer reading program by assisting the Program Coordinator with clerical and organizational tasks as needed.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Good interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport with program staff, partner school staff, and children
Good oral and written communication skills
Good organizational skills
Must be able to pass a background check as the position works with minors.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience working with elementary-aged children is a plus.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
