Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Although COVID-19 itself is no longer an immediate threat in the long-term care (LTC) environment, the emotional, cognitive, and behavioral sequalae of this past year are evident, and we at Deer Oaks are committed to doing our part to help individuals and facilities recover.

We offer geriatric-focused training and ASWB-accredited continuing education to our providers to assist in providing a foundation of relevant knowledge, in addition to offering consultation with colleagues to help support our new providers. We have opportunities for providing in-person diagnostic assessments, individual psychotherapy, and neuropsychological testing, in addition to opportunities for telehealth. We are hiring a part-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker to provide high quality individual psychotherapy, family therapy, group therapy, behavioral management and assessment services to residents in long-term care facilities in Charlottesville, VA.

• Requires licensing in the State of New Hampshire as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Experience working with the geriatric population (preferred)
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
• Experience collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience using Electronic Medical Records systems
• Must possess effective communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and facility staff
• Part-time availability two days per week for clinical services (Monday-Friday) at 40% FTE
