Perimeter Behavioral of Springfield has immediate openings for Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Therapists. We are seeking individuals who are committed to improving the lives of those with mental health illness.

Our Licensed Therapist responsibilities include the following:
- Conducts individual and group counseling sessions with our patients.
- Completes psycho-social assessments for new admissions.
- Observes client for abnormal physical or mental behavior and monitors progress with components of treatment plan.
- Assists with family therapy sessions as needed.
- Assists with discharge planning as needed.
- Responds to any emergency involving clients in treatment.
- Participates as a team member by cooperating with staff and demonstrates compromise and expression of opinions as appropriate.
- Attends staff meetings as required and performs duties as a positive role model for clients and colleagues.
- Performs community relations by ensuring all written and verbal information is clear, concise, legible and accurate.
- Communicates and cooperates with families/guardians, relevant external personnel and staff members.
- Complies with deadlines for PSA’s and signed charts.
- Completes documentation within 24 hours of completion.
- Documents all external and internal contacts and relays client information according to company and governmental guidelines maintaining appropriate confidentiality.
Qualifications for a Licensed Therapist include the following:
- Age: Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Education: Master's degree (MA/MS) in psychology, counseling, social work or related field required.
- Experience: Prefer at least one (1) year of related experience in a pediatric setting with psychiatric experience.
- Additional Requirements: Licensed or license eligible as LPC, LCSW or LMSW in State of practice. Successful completion of CPR and Handle with Care or Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 30 days of employment.
