Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community is looking for compassionate & caring LPNs to join our Personal Care/Memory Support team!

An LPN effectively demonstrates the ability to supervise staff on an ongoing basis, assess each resident and makes appropriate care plan decisions, and works with the interdisciplinary team. If you are caring and compassionate with the ability to take the lead, we want to talk to you!

Currently offering a Sign-On Bonus

  • $4000 for Full/Modified Full-Time

OR

$2000 for Part-time of 20 hours a week or more*

Current Opportunities:

Personal Care / Evening Shift:

  • 2:00pm-10:30pm - Modified Full-Time, 8 shifts over a 2 week pay period BENEFIT ELIGIBLE!

Memory Support / Evening Shift:

  • 4:00pm-8:00pm - MAKE YOUR OWN SCHEDULE, how many shifts would work for you, you decide!

  • PRN / As Needed - All Shifts

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • An LPN Med Nurse will administer personal hygiene, nursing care, treatment and therapeutic measures according to physician's instructions, accepted nursing standards, and QPRC policies.
  • Precisely documents medications, treatments, conditions of residents; completes all required written documentation accurately and timely.
  • An LPN Med Nurse properly uses and maintains all medical supplies/ equipment.
  • Orders supplies for residents and the nursing station as needed.
  • Continually assesses residents' heath status; reports changes to Memory Support Coordinator and carefully documents changes.
  • An LPN Med Nurse handles emergency resident situations effectively.
  • Updates the Plan of Care for each resident as conditions change. Demonstrates competency in assessing, planning, implementing, delivering and evaluating care of residents.
  • An LPN Med Nurse demonstrates ability to assist all residents to reach self-care potential, to treat and communicate with dementia residents, and to modify own behavior in response to a resident's behavior.
  • Utilizes effective verbal and written communication skills with all staff, residents and visitors.
  • Gives accurate, concise, and complete shift reports.

Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED (Copy required)
  • Current Pennsylvania LPN License
  • Current CPR certification (QPRC will provide)
