Integrative Psychology Services is a thriving clinical practice that has been providing psychological services to the elderly population in New Jersey since 2006. We provide clinical services in long-term care, assisted living, day programs, and independent living facilities. In keeping with the mission that everyone should have access to mental health care, IPS has expanded its practice to work with all populations via teletherapy. We are currently looking for EXCEPTIONAL LICENSED PSYCHOLOGISTS PsyD or PhD and LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKERS (LCSW), to join our practice. Continued growth has created positions in Essex, Morris, Warren, Somerset, and Bergen Counties. Our goal is to help our patients function at an optimal level both in facilities as well as in their personal and professional lives. To achieve this end, clinicians will also be working collaboratively with the staff at facilities, as well as caregivers and home healthcare support services.

Job Description:

  • Clinician will utilize a safe and caring approach combined with scientifically valid treatment interventions. The aim is to teach our patients coping skills to reduce depression and stress-related physical and psychological symptoms caused by the myriad of medical issues and changes in the elderly person’s social environment.
  • Counseling, education, and training will be implemented to assist caregivers and home health care agencies to help meet the needs of our elderly patients.
  • Function as a vital part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.
  • You will be trained to identify and treat the major symptoms of problematic adjustment such as behavioral disturbances, depression, and anxiety.
  • Utilize behavioral management strategies to address the negative behaviors associated with dementia.
  • Provide a broad spectrum of therapies including individual psychotherapy, group therapy, as well as consultation and supportive services to the families of residents of long-term care facilities and home based settings.

Job Requirements:

  • Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of NJ
  • Driver’s License and registered vehicle
  • Willing to travel
