Part Time & Full Time Available: 20-40 hours/week
Non-Exempt: $16.00/hour

About the Role
We are looking for a proactive employee to support individuals with a developmental disability in our Community Habilitation program. This one-on-one or small group services supports individuals in their home and community to develop independent living skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing life skills focused on individual’s goals such as cooking, cleaning, socialization etc.
- Providing goal driven services as outlined in Life Plan
- Assessing participant’s skills, needs, and interested to determine appropriate services
- Creating a learning environment that is conductive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interest of adult learners
Education & Experience
High school diploma plus experience working with individuals of various disabilities, required. Some college preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Required skills include: active listening and effective speaking, time management, critical thinking, basic technology/e-mail, reading comprehension, effective written and verbal expression.
Conditions of Employment
Must possess a valid driver’s license and transportation necessary to meet program needs.
