Salary Range/Level:

  • Level 1 - $16 - $20/ Hr
  • Level 2 - $20 - $22.50/ Hr
  • Level 3 - $22.50 - $25/ Hr
  • Level 4 - $25 - $30/ Hr

Required Competencies:

  • Minimum of 3 years' electrical work experience. Solar experience a plus.
  • Roofing and/or electrical experience directly related to solar installations.
  • Experience in running wire, bending metal conduit and proper attachment methods
  • Valid license, clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or GED certificate.
  • Reliable and predictable attendance.
  • Ability to work in varied weather conditions.
  • Comfortable working on rooftops and in confined spaces.
  • The ability to bend, stoop, kneel and stand for extended period of time.
  • The ability to climb ladders and lift 50+ lbs regularly.
  • Ability to dig trenches if needed.
  • Operate construction light and heavy-duty tools such as jackhammer, auger, conveyor lift, etc.

  • Assist experienced electricians in completing job functions on the ladder. Follow specific instructions and
  • Monitor safety guidelines.
  • Keep the work area clean of debris and loose tools. Trash cleanup and movement of materials.
  • Pulling materials by model and part number- transport equipment and tools to and from the job site, if needed.
  • Assemble small components as needed.
  • Pay close attention to detail. Able to accurately read model numbers and prep fixtures for installation.
  • Install LED Fluorescent Retrofit Kits and Laying


LVL 2

  • Assist experienced electricians in completing job functions on the ladder. Follow specific instructions and
  • monitor safety guidelines.
  • Keep the work area clean of debris and loose tools. Trash cleanup and movement of materials.
  • Pulling materials by model and part number- transport equipment and tools to and from the job site, if needed.
  • Assemble small components as needed.
  • Pay close attention to detail. Able to accurately read model numbers and prep fixtures for installation.

  • Keep the work area clean of debris and loose tools. Trash cleanup and movement of materials.
  • Pulling materials by model and part number- transport equipment and tools to and from the job site, if needed.
  • Assemble small components as needed.
  • Pay close attention to detail. Able to accurately read model numbers and prep fixtures for installation.
  • Install LED Fluorescent Retrofit Kits and Layins
  • Knowledge of connector panel bypass process
  • Read Electrical RAD prints and acquire parts needed according to process
  • Troubleshoot circuits, photocells, switches, and the timeclock.
  • Program lighting controls.
  • Maintain gear supply. Read Exhibits and order supplies as needed


Tactical:

  • Assist with installing mounting and racking systems on all job types.
  • Comfortable working on roofs of all heights and different slopes/ pitches.
  • Ability to transport materials and equipment to complete assigned tasks.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a team environment but also independently when needed.
  • Ability to lift, move and/or carry items in excess of 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to climb ladders, stairs, and work from heights.
  • Assist with troubleshooting, testing, and repairing systems activities as needed and respond to service calls.
  • Assemble harnesses, cables, switch panels, circuit boards, and a variety of different electrical components.
  • Insure parts are assembled per instructions for proper appearance and function.
  • Meet all QA and QC standards for each assembly task per assigned department.
  • Drill, edge fill, fit and assemble a variety of detail parts, and assemblies, including cutting openings in bodies to accommodate wire and components, using hand tools and power tools.
  • Assist with electrical wiring of solar arrays (AC and DC).
  • Communicate professionally with clients while giving first class customer service
  • Mental fortitude to complete installations on schedule.
  • Perform other work as assigned.
