- Prepares a variety of meats, seafood and vegetables for cooking in ovens, grills, fryers, etc.
- Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of products served.
- Knows and complies consistently with recipes, portion control, cooking methods and quality standards.
- Follows all kitchen rules, policies and procedures.
- Responsible for food safety.
- Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to ensure a smooth service period.
- Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation area including tables, shelves, grills, fryers,
burners, convection oven and refrigeration equipment.
-Follows proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes.
- Handles, stores and rotates all products properly.
- Reports any equipment repairs to supervisor.
