Hiring a Professional Line Cook!
Table & Main, Osteria Mattone, & Coalition Food and Beverage are hiring line & prep cooks!
Line cooks will ensure that all orders are processed, cooked, and plated according to recipe standards.
- The ability to work on your feet for long shifts.
- The ability to adapt to a busy kitchen environment while working closely with restaurant staff.
Tasks:
- Ensure that each station is ready to receive orders 15 minutes before service.
- Ensure that all equipment is maintained and in good working order.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work station throughout the shift.
- Maintain a clean and organized walk-in cooler.
- Maintain a working par level of any food related items.
- Inform Chef on duty of any food related issues.
- Complete all relevant side-work.
- Clean kitchen according to Chef's standards after each shift.
- Essential Skills & Knowledge:
- Friendly, quick with a smile, eager and optimistic!
- Expert knowledge of the menu.
- Expert execution of menu items.
- Ability to delegate when appropriate.
- Ability to multi-task & prioritize effectively.

- Understand that there is no hard 'out time' on his/her schedule.
- Bring a positive attitude to every aspect of the job every day.
