Summary
The Logistic Associate is primarily responsible for protecting company assets by maintaining vault security and ensuring the accuracy of inventory kept in the vault by managing the physical and virtual movement of items. The Logistic Associate performs shipping and receiving, including counting physical inventory and comparing counts with Metrc and NAV, and verifying invoice accuracy for every shipment of both regulated products and unregulated products. The Logistic Associate is responsible for physically securing products prior to transport and performing loss prevention activities by monitoring access to the vault and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The Logistic Associate is a member of the S-type Logistics staff.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Responsible for maintaining the integrity of all confidential information
- Understands the complexity of compliance requirements governing our businesses, including the following regulatory agencies:
- Marijuana Enforcement Division
- Fire department
- City zoning and planning
- Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment
- Municipal regulations
- Other relevant organizations
- Responsible for physically organizing inventory in designated areas in vault, on labeled shelves and in numerical order
- Responsible for physically receiving incoming inventory and verifying accuracy (batching, weight, and name) and for performing initial quality assurance checks upon receipt
- Packages and labels bulk products for all outgoing shipments and vendor orders, including verifying accuracy of physical count/weight and all other order details
- Creates or verifies accuracy of Metrc and NAV manifests to account for all outgoing and incoming shipments, including combining batches and monitoring RFID tracking throughout the manufacturing and distribution process
- Controls and releases inventory to transport staff for distribution to retail locations or wholesale clients
- Responsible for coordinating with MED and maintaining product during holding period while awaiting testing results
- Physically maintains the security and integrity of the vault, including limiting access to approved staff only
- Responsible for packaging and labeling bulk products with Package Tag/Batch #, Strain Name, Weight, Ingredients, and Potency Test Results to fill distribution orders
- Stages outgoing orders for pick-up
- Responsible for differentiating manifest type for each outgoing shipment, including transfer, wholesale, or infused transfer
- Adapts to a variety of working environments, including offices and manufacturing and cultivation facilities, and is able to interact professionally with a range of employees and the public
- Responsible for reading and understanding all department-specific Standard Operating Procedures and documentation

Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in any field preferred
Training
- Must maintain current knowledge and adhere to all policy and regulations of the Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED); Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and S-Type Armored
Required Skills & Experience
- Excellent computer, mathematical, language, and reasoning skills
- High-level of attention to detail, administrative skills, and highly organized
- Experience using web browser applications and familiarity with current versions
- Knowledge of Colorado marijuana laws, MED regulations, HIPAA, and CDPHE requirements
- Excellent influential, collaborative, and relationship building skills
- Excellent computer, mathematical, language, and reasoning skills
- High level attention to detail
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Previous bank vault, gaming, or inventory management experience
- Law enforcement, military, government and/or security experience
- Ability to task prioritize with shifting workload in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of Colorado marijuana laws, MED regulations, and CDPHE requirements; Previous marijuana industry experience preferred with priority given to candidates with experience in CO licensed facilities

Physical Requirements
- Must be able to individually lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift for long periods of time

Work Requirements
- Must have and be able to maintain valid driver’s license
- Must be able to acquire MED badge employment
- Must be able to work in cultivation, manufacturing, or production facilities with moderate to loud noise level and changing working conditions; May require use of safety equipment or personal protective equipment, as needed
Travel Requirements
- May require local travel, as needed.
Additional Abilities Required:
- The job requires physical activity, including prolonged standing, repetitive bending, climbing, lifting, or moving up to 50 pounds (or more with assistance from a coworker). Good visual acuity, hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and ability to perform repetitive motions with accuracy is required. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Working conditions also include varying range of temperature and humidity levels.
