Job Summary：
The Logistics Technology Analyst will support the deployment and ongoing maintenance of international transportation technology solutions to further the company’s goal of a world class supply chain operation. The analyst works with logistics leaders, materials management leaders, IT, and optimization program team to ensure the correct supply chain technology solutions are in place or identify solutions to bridge technology gaps. The analyst will provide recommendations on technology solutions, or improved application usage of current solutions to drive productivity and resource optimization.

Responsibilities:

• Recommend, deploy, and provide on-going support for Optimization Technology across the global supply chain with the TMS, YMS, Supply Chain Visibility, Telematics, Trade Compliance, Materials Management.
• Lead technology support for the business teams (rate uploads, commitments, trouble ticket resolution).
• Works with business units and other internal teams to assess issues, develop recommendations and implement business improvement processes. Creates an improvement process methodology that identifies, captures, and applies improvements to business process development and maintenance methodologies based on lessons learned, industry best practices, and feedback from customers.
• Design, develop, and implement standard work, tools, and processes. Deploy standard work as part of the Trane Business Operating System (BOS) and ensure sustainability through a world class daily management program (MDI).
• Responsible for test case creation and execution of TMS test steps in all testing cycles, to include regression testing; provide direct support through stabilization period.
• Collaborate with internal and external members on interfaces/integrations, and connections like finance, direct material suppliers, IT, and freight payment data.
• Drive continuous improvement. Identifies opportunities for new systems functionality and enhances key business metrics / processes improving business outcomes.
• Supports participants with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) development / execution and training for optimization tools, process updates, and workflow tools.
• Assist with other teams to ensure all project deliverables and outcomes are implemented on time, on budget, and within scope to meet the expectations of the project sponsor and owner.
• Supports consistency and standardization across the organization.

• 5+ years supply chain experience
  • experiences including but not limited to several of the following Supply Chain technology solutions (TMS, YMS, Logistics Procurement/Bidding)
• Experience in the implementation and the operation of web-enabled Transportation Management systems
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; relative experience required in-lieu of degree.
• Experience with systems roll-outs, facilitating change management, conducting user training, and providing on-going systems support.
• In-depth knowledge of integrated information systems (material planning, demand forecasting, transportation planning, production planning, procurement, and distribution)
• Strong understanding of transportation management and distribution planning
• Strong project management and communication skills
• Ability to develop and deliver creative and effective solutions and successfully manage complex projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to travel up to 10%

• Supply Chain Acumen: Oversees development and execution of logistics strategies for assigned deployments, drives utilization of common, logistics tools to achieve optimal results that are Quality, Delivery, Price, and Service balanced and corporate/government compliant.
• Strong knowledge of the international ocean booking process with carriers including direct and NVOCC, truckers and drayage companies.
• Project Management: Partners and collaborates with cross-functional leaders to align objectives, manages global project portfolio, oversees overall implementation.
• Change Management: Demonstrated ability to drive change and continuous improvement using communication skills to engage the organization to achieve world class performance.
• Must possess a strong customer service orientation.
• Must be able to work well in fast-paced environments and be proficient at conflict resolution.
• Must have strong business/financial acumen, deep analytical skills, and ability to lead, inspire, motivate, and lay out clear expectations.

Base pay range: $75,000-$120,000.
