Logistics Assistant Job at Premier Brands Group Holdings
- Work with all factories to monitor and confirm all compliance standards.
- Maintain necessary compliance records associated with job function as required by government agencies for specified time as defined by country.
- Ensure proper reporting to Partnering Government Agencies, I.E.; Fish & Wildlife Services, Lacey Act compliance.
- Coordinate factory audits with outside auditing companies.
- Review merchandise quantities received against original order/invoice to determine accuracy of shipment and to check for overages and shortages in shipment to ensure correct reporting to customs.
- Provide guidance to Classification Specialists as needed.
- Works with factories, external customs brokers and carriers to resolve customs clearance delays.
- Works with senior management for production, design and sourcing regarding questions related to classification and correct labelling of products made and imported by the company.
- Resolve any compliance issues by communicating with our Custom House brokers, couriers and upper management.
- Inform vendors, agents and production departments of requirements for Special Trade programs and Free Trade Agreements for potential duty savings
- Request documentation from Agent / Vendors and review for special trade eligibility.
