Logistics Coordinator-Omni-Channel Sale Job at Costellos Ace
The Logistics Coordinator for the Omni-Sales Channel coordinates the processing of all phone, ace hardware dot com, curbside, and other non in-store retail purchases and orders.
Key Responsibilities
- Accessing and answering all ace hardware dot com orders
- Answering and processing all phone orders
- Ensuing they access KIBO at least once an hour to stay on top of all incoming orders
- In charge of all incoming orders on KIBO via text messaging, email, or phone orders
- Picking, organizing, and packing all orders for final fulfillment
- Answer any chat inquires
- Keep all customers informed on order progress
- Working with in-store management to coordinate all efforts
- Contact and arrange for delivery with the outside delivery team
- Help delivery team by at times making deliveries to customers for the store
- Coordinate and make curbside deliveries for customers
- Prepare canceled orders for return to RSC and/or back to sales floor
- Maintain work area, keeping clean and organized for continued success
- Provide results summary for all aspects of the position
Job Functions:
- Use the E.C.E.T. (Every Customer, Every Time) process with EVERY customer interaction.
- Greet every customer you make eye contact with, anywhere in the store.
- Answer customers’ questions and provide information on procedures and policies.
- Be at your workstation on time and “customer ready” whenever you are on the stage/sales floor.
- Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements.
- Recommend related items when appropriate and execute S.A.L.E.S. process.
- Assist in the training and development of peers.
- Uphold merchandising and store cleanliness standards.
- Know the proper way to answer the telephone.
- Be alert for possible merchandise losses. Protect all company assets and report any missing or damaged merchandise to your supervisor.
- Address all safety concerns immediately.
- Advise store management of any pricing errors.
- Perform other tasks as asked by store management
- Retail environment or online ordering experience
- Ability to navigate internal software fulfillment systems
- Very organized to manage multiple sales channels in-store.
- Self-starter and the ability to run this business within the store business
- Must be able to lift 65 pounds to load customer orders
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Must have reliable transportation and valid drivers license
