SUMMARY

To be responsible for the administration and monitoring budget/KPI for US region of North America International logistics operation center

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Investigate the target country of NA which will set up logistics in future, including economic policy, Free trade agreement from a macroscopic perspective, and customs policy, industry trends from a microcosmic perspective
  • Responsible for Medium and long-term planning of overseas transit warehouse in NA
  • Logistics planning for NA
  • Responsible for the advanced logistics planning and logistics-related-cost assessment of export and import-related projects in NA region, including advanced customs issues, transportation routes, transit warehouses, etc.
  • Responsible for 3rd party transit warehouse bidding for NA region, the implementation of the warehouse solution for nominated projects, and the LSP management, to support the logistics operation team to improve the KPI of the suppliers
  • Responsible for international& Domestic transportation procurement in yearly bidding for Freight Forwarder/Customs broker/Shipping Carrier ", and the LSP management; support the logistics operation team to improve the KPI of the suppliers
  • Establish and maintain the cost basis of 3rd party transit-warehouse, and import& export-related freight basis in NA region
  • The group self-built transit warehouse ROI analysis, warehousing solution design and project management, improve the warehouse setup and support the resolution and improvement of the daily warehousing operation KPI issue
  • Deeply involved in advanced logistics planning, and providing suggestions and overall logistics/Customs solutions (destination port, routing...) under DDP term
  • Establish and maintain the overseas logistics fee base of overseas transit warehouse, transportation
  • Responsible for warehousing cost planning, control and reducing the abnormal expenses in US region

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in International trade, International business, International logistics or similar
  • At least 8 years working experience in overseas logistics, of which more than 2 years experience in the automotive part industry and must have customer order and delivery management, overseas transit warehouse management experience
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organizing, coordination, communication, optional solutions providing and problem-solving ability
  • Convey positive energy, listen patiently
  • Cross-culture communication skills and teamwork spirit
  • Great risk control ability
  • Stress resistance ability and interpersonal skills, and can wisely deal with setbacks
  • Show effective leadership to train, guide, encourage and lead the team to accomplish the goal excellently
  • International Trade, Logistics, transportation, warehousing and Customs compliance knowledge
  • Well known about warehouse planning, operation, and WMS system principle
  • Well known about procurement of the logistics(warehousing, transportation) and the LSP management, strong negotiation skills with suppliers
  • Good understanding of logistics requirements from automotive industry customers, especially from USA/EU OEM, e.g. MMOG/LE International financial and tax knowledge
  • Good sense for systematic thinking and global thinking, be meticulous and considerate for work.
  • Good global organizing, coordination, optional solutions providing and problem-solving ability
  • Good sense for setting up and optimizing the procedure to improve the work efficiency
  • Cross-culture communication skills, coordination ability and teamwork spirit
  • Good skills in using ERP-SAP, Office software and other IT software (e.g. PPT, function)
