We are seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Operator to work with a leading global provider of construction products in the city of Santa Ana, CA! **THIS IS A DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY** We require those interested to have extensive machine operation experience.

The ideal candidate must be flexible to work where needed and work overtime when required.

Essential Functions:

• Capability to setup complex parts and operate machine without supervision.
• Interprets plans, work order, blueprints or drawings to determine the necessary work required.
• Inspects parts for quality and appropriate tolerance using the appropriate measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, air gages and comparators.
• Finishes all parts with different materials to close tolerance without supervision.
• Examines surface of work piece for defects before starting work.
• Must meet production and quality requirements at all times, always keep work area clean.
• Ability to modify machining feed and speeds on multiple material types and select tooling, gauges as/if required.
• Uses measuring tools, air gauges, micrometers and other inspection tools to verify part quality.
• Replaces worn tools, inspect parts and adjust tool offsets as needed.
• Must be a team player and follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Takes finished product pallets and stores the material in the warehouse using a forklift.
• Date and time stamps pallets of finished product line.
• Performs daily housekeeping assignments.
• Completes the daily shift reports.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Forklift experience/certification preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to speak, read, and comprehend English in order to effectively carry out the job tasks.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Use mics, indicators, calipers, and gages to produce quality parts.
• 1+ years CNC set-up, operating, and basic programming experience.
• Ability to operate different type of heavy machinery.
• Experienced with multiple machine tools, production methods and shop practices preferred.

Job Type: Full-time
