Machine Specialist Specialty Pack Job at Harry & David
The Machine Specialist is responsible for operation the Bradman Lake Tower cover machines and Randles tray machines. This position will support the production lines with their cover and tray needs. The specialist will perform pre and post operational inspections of the equipment to assure safe and proper operation. In addition, the operator is responsible for communication with the supervisor for problem prevention, identification, correction and any product quality issues. Other duties include cleaning of equipment and surrounding work areas. Day and Swing shifts available!
Day shift hours: 7:00am-3:30pm
Swing Shift hours: 3:30pm-12:00am
Requirements:- Must be a reliable self-starter, willing and able to learn new responsibilities and work without direct supervision. The ability to successfully work as part of a team is essential.
- Must have a safety and quality-conscious work history.
- A proven mechanical aptitude for making precise adjustments on production machinery to ensure proper operation is preferred.
- Assist production through the effective use of electrical/mechanical equipment. Complaint with Lock-out/Tag-out.
- Good math skills are needed to calculate product usage.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- This position requires frequent bending, lifting, twisting, walking, reaching, repetitive wrist movement, standing for a full shift.
- Job assignments and support tasks may vary depending on productions needs. Must be flexible, hours and days may change with production needs and overtime may be required.
