We are looking for an experienced full-time Maintenance Assistant (37.5 hrs. a week/every other weekend) to join our Environmental Services team. We'll pay you based on your experience and for full time, we will offer you a great work environment with generous benefits, including 401(k) plan, medical, dental, life and disability insurance, along with other fringe benefits. Offering a $1,000 for full time candidates.


Job Responsibilities;


  • Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment to include plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, etc., as directed
  • Service heating and cooling units/systems, as specified by the manufacturer, and in compliance with established policies and procedures and under the direction of the Environmental Services Director
  • Replace burned out light bulbs, to include, exit lights, overhead lights, fluorescent lights, room call lights, etc., and perform cleaning duties in high places
  • Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, etc., by cutting, trimming, policing, sweeping as directed
  • Ensure that maintenance schedules are followed as outlined for respective shift or area and perform unscheduled maintenance tasks, as directed
  • Assist others in lifting heavy equipment, supplies, etc. as requested
  • Ensure that established Infection Control and Universal Precautions practices are maintained when performing maintenance procedures

Requirements:


  • Must be willing to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and have received first dose prior to starting
  • High School Graduate or GED required
  • Experience in a janitorial or related field required
  • Must be punctual, dependable, and demonstrate compassion and patience
  • Must be able to follow oral and written instructions
  • Interact professionally with residents, family members, visitors and staff
