Job Summary
The Maintenance Information Coordinator solicits, creates, enters and controls all plant maintenance master data for the Reliability Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), i.e. Infor EAM / SAP. This role interacts with various functional areas including Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, and Finance and is responsible for creating, training, and enforcing standards related to plant master data.

This role interacts with various functional areas including Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, and Finance and is responsible for creating, training, and enforcing standards related to plant master data.
Essential Job Duties
- Enters and maintains plant level master data within the maintenance function.
- Develops accurate and complete Bill of Materials (BOM) for plant equipment. Works with Engineering to ensure BOMs are created and spare parts stocked for new equipment installs.
- Creates and modifies preventative maintenance tasks and job plans as required.
- Ensures the annual Stores obsolescence review is completed thoroughly and accurately.
- Develops, tracks, and communicates reports and presents maintenance performance indicators (KPI's).
- Ensures that all departmental processes are completed (Training, Hot Work Permits, GMP's, Confined Space, etc.).
- Supports and maintains the CMMS, including training, software, hardware, end-user support and problem solving.
- Supports Charlotte Infor to SAP transition including data review and clean-up, process implementation, training, etc.
- Assists Reliability Planners enter BOMs when large plant changes are submitted for processing.
- Serves as a backup for Reliability Planners.
- May be required to occasionally work on night shift.

Contact with vendors will be limited with meetings and/or conversations scheduled by the Mgr, Reliability Engineering or other management level staff. The parts obsolescence and discarding decisions will be made by others. This role will drive the process of collecting the parts from the storeroom.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills; able to effectively present information to groups via department meetings, training sessions / presentations, and email communications.
- Data systems savvy with strong analytical skills to collect and analyze information to measure both suppliers and buying locations performance and conformance to corporate policy, contracts, and agreements.
- Knowledge and ability to speak effectively for collaboration with internal customers and suppliers.
- Demonstrate initiative and sound judgment. Work well with teams as well as, possess ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good planning, organization, and prioritization skills and diligent in follow up activities.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Must have good mechanical and electrical knowledge and know machinery spare parts.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance or equivalent preferred. Prior mechanic or electrician experience preferred.
