Maintenance/Pool Tech Job at Sunland RV Resorts
Must be able to work early mornings, weekends and holidays.
Prefer someone with knowledge in pool care, chemicals, preventive maintenance on pool equipment and should be pool certified from the health dept or able to obtain certification.
Minimum of two years’ experience with commercial pools. Must be able to lift 50lbs, stand on feet for long periods of time, requires bending, kneeling, lifting, standing, carrying and swimming. There will be times the job will require you to physically be in the pool to maintain pool maintenance.
Duties are but not limited to;
Care and maintenance of the pool and equipment, cleaning pool furniture, decks, picking up trash, assisting with activities set up and tear down. Will interact with guest on a daily basis and need to be able to assist in other departments when directed.
Position is responsible for the safe and clean operation of all pools and hot tubs at the Resort. This will include:
Maintenance and repairs of all motors, pumps and filters
Backwashing and filter cleaning
Chemical management
Operation of pool vacuums and netting of surface debris
Cleaning of all return baskets
Pool heater management
Blowing and Hosing pool deck
Lifting umbrellas
Arranging chairs and lounger
Pond skimming, cleaning and chemical management

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
