Position Summary:
The maintenance technician is 101’s key form of maintenance at 101's Wilkes Barre facility. The primary responsibility of this person is to organize, maintain, clean and prevent expensive down time on all equipment at 101.
The successful candidate will have the ability to effectively manage all maintenance items below in addition to special projects that may be required from time to time, both in terms of priority and scheduled time to complete. This position reports to the Facilities Maintenance Manager.
Requirements
Essential Functions:
1. Equipment maintenance: scheduled & unscheduled work on processing equipment, forklifts, man lifts, pumps, & stainless steel.
2. Facilities maintenance: scheduled & unscheduled work on 101 Pendleton buildings, mechanicals, outside tanks, and doors.
3. Grounds maintenance: scheduled & unscheduled work on the lawn, trees, parking lots, drives, & sidewalks
Essential Skills:
1. Strong work ethic and integrity
2. Experience welding, plasma cutting, torch
3. Experience wiring, troubleshooting, plumbing, working with stainless steel
4. Strong problem-solving skills
5. Excellent communication skills: Outlook, PC, in person, written, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
