Discount Drug Mart is looking for a Maintenance Technician for our distribution center / warehouse located in Medina, OH.

The Equipment Maintenance Tech is responsible for the repair of fork lifts, lift trucks and other machinery, basic plumbing, conveyor repair, overhead door and floor repair, painting and welding.

Primary/Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Completes routine maintenance on the following: Fork Lift, Tow Motor, Lift Truck and other machinery. Including: Battery Maintenance and water level checks, load wheels, gates, horns, switches, lights, etc.
• Completes conveyor and overhead door repair and maintenance.
• Completes general Distribution Center Duties: Rack Repair, installation and tear down; Floor Repair; Repair and replacement of lighting systems on DDM Corporate Grounds and Distribution Center; Rodent Protection; and Basic Plumbing.
• Completes Hydrant flushing and fire pump test and maintenance.
• Completes painting, including, floor location stencil, floor painting, and hanging of signs.
• Basic Electric work, Welding and General Carpentry.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required. Attention to detail and good math skills are an important part of this position.
