The Task At-Hand:
The Maintenance Technician reports to the Facilities and Maintenance Manager to support the brewing facility and packaging operations.

You are a skilled technician with detailed knowledge and experience with packaging equipment, pumps, utility equipment, liquid heating, and cooling systems, and safety protocols.

In This Role You Will:
Facilities
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance on facility utilities
  • Maintain and Repair Cellar and Brewhouse Equipment
  • Perform new equipment installation and commissioning
  • Identify and implement improved plant efficiencies
  • Perform Packaging Equipment Changeover
  • Troubleshoot and correct depalletizer, filler, seamer, cartoner, tray packer, palletizer and associated packaging equipment
  • Maintain and repair keg washers and fillers
  • Perform preventative maintenance to all equipment
  • Report any possible deficiencies related to equipment or processes
  • Perform yearly overhauls on packaging equipment
  • Assist in training existing and new Maintenance Apprentice team members
  • Work with packaging personnel to improve equipment efficiencies
  • Additional duties as assigned by Facilities & Maintenance leadership team

Must Haves:
  • Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of application
  • Minimum 3 years of mechanical experience in beverage manufacturing or similar industry
  • Safety Minded and previous OSHA compliant or similar safety training
  • Expert level experience with standard and powered handheld tools and equipment
  • Expert level experience with shop equipment including drill press, belt sander, lathe, and saws
  • Strong experience with electrical safety and wiring
  • Strong experience with mechanical repair
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Able to maneuver and/or lift up to 100 pounds with appropriate equipment and/or assistance
  • Able to stand, walk, regularly twist, turn, kneel, climb, stoop, bend, crawl, and be on your feet for prolonged periods
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, growing company

Compensation:
  • Full Time, Salaried ($65,000.00 - 70,000.00), Exempt
