Here we grow again...Awarded Emerald Coast’s Best Vacation Rental Management Company for 2019 and 2021, My Vacation Haven, LLC is a premier vacation rental management company providing comprehensive management services to approximately 400 properties spanning along 30A to Destin. At My Vacation Haven, our goal is to provide the highest standard of care to the properties we manage, while ultimately ensuring each guest leaves with a great memory!

We are currently searching for a maintenance technician who will be responsible for performing maintenance inspections and repairs after a request, guest departure, or prior to a guest arrival. You will be responsible for recording inspection results and working with other team members to resolve any deficiencies. You will act as a primary liaison to other staff to ensure maintenance issues are resolved for guests.

• Thoroughly inspect any reported maintenance issues to ensure maintenance standards are met. Update appropriate team members of the status of each maintenance call.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspection.
• Work orders are documented on a computer. Document the results of the inspections, resolve deficiencies, and write work orders for larger maintenance issues. Inspect for any damages and immediately report to the manager.
• Maintain key control policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Promptly resolve any guest complaints or issues.
• Effectively communicate to other team members.
• Other duties, as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

• 1 year of maintenance experience preferred but not required.
• Able to communicate in English effectively.

Requirements:

• Activator/self-motivated to accomplish goals, with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication and attention to detail.
• Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality business, team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the resort.
• Ability to use computer.
• Positive attitude and customer oriented.
• Well-mannered.
• Team Player.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Good driving record.
• Reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

• Standing & walking for long periods.
• Frequent twisting, bending, stooping and reaching.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
