Maintenance Technician/Carpenter Job at Bello Casa Construction
Bello Casa is hiring a full-time (rain or shine), year-round Maintenance Technician/Carpenter to join our team in Scotch Plains, NJ. The ideal candidate should be a well-rounded Maintenance Technician/Carpenter, who can work alone and/or with an assistant, takes pride in their work, can service & interact with homeowners and fill out basic work orders. We provide service for mainly exterior & some interior residential repairs (see job duties below). This position reports to one Townhome Community Association in Scotch Plains, NJ Monday through Friday from 8am-4:30pm. Company vehicle is provided, fully outfitted with ladders and all large-scale tools. On-site maintenance shop, office, dumpsters and on-site storage containers are also provided.

Job duties include:
- Work order repairs to residential roofing & siding
- Window & door repairs (leaks & maintenance) and replacements
- Exterior trim (PVC, aluminum fascia, etc.) repairs & replacement
- Gutter cleaning & repairs
- Minor masonry maintenance (crack fill, etc.).
- Interior drywall & paint repairs (example: minor leak repairs)
- Minor electrical
- Proactive preventative maintenance projects to increase property values & enhance the community
Responsibilities
- Complete work order requests & preventative maintenance daily
- Fill out work orders daily, either manually and/or via cell phone
- Take pride in your work
- Must have valid drivers license in order to operate company vehicle on-site
- Provide personal hand tools (large scale tools provided)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $42,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year
