Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the following: Other duties may be assigned.

• Perform repair work on all plant equipment, building repairs, maintenance and updates per the PM or as needed.
• To keep track and execute the preventive and predictive maintenance plan on all machinery.
• Make sure all tools and spare parts are stored away properly and properly identified.
• Painting, repairing drywall, tile repair, grout replacement, caulking
• Changing light bulbs, replacing fixtures, replacing outlets and breakers, other minor electrical tasks.
• Plumbing work including opening clogged drains, repairing leaks, and preforming other simple plumbing jobs.
• Simple carpentry tasks, such as installing shelves, hooks, fixing hinges and doors, cabinet install and repair
• Ensuring tools and equipment are in working order and keeping the maintenance areas in neat condition.
• Any type of experience fixing production machines.
• Experienced with all work tools, AC/DC electrical systems, calibrated measuring instruments, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Able to read and interpret diagrams, charts, schematics
• Inspect facilities and equipment on a regular basis.
• Monitors a variety of machines ensuring they are running properly. Coordinate repairs when necessary.
• Ensures all safety guidelines and SOPs are followed.

Skills:

• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Understand how to use checklists.
• Experienced in general and preventative maintenance/ repair of industrial production equipment, other operating equipment, building, and facilities, including analysis and diagnostics.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
• Must be able to work independently as well as within a team environment.
• Must be quality conscientious and detail oriented. HACCP, GMP experience is preferred.

Education and/or Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in equivalent position with proven skills in successful leadership

Other:

• Must possess the ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
