Education: High School diploma or GED is strongly preferred and/or vocational/technical education.

License/Certifications: Must have a Maine Driver's License with no moving violations during the past three (3) years, be insurable and pass a background and security check.

Experience: Must have worked in a maintenance position with mechanical, electrical, construction, and/or plumbing duties.

Must be able to use hand tools, power tools, major equipment.

Must be ableto effectively communicate with a variety of people.

Pen Bay Medical Center’s Knox Center has an immediate opening for a full time Maintenance Worker to join our team. This is a full time position on our evening shift.
The Maintenance Worker ensures a safe and secure environment for the residents, staff, visitors and property of the Knox Center in compliance with all Federal and State regulations; responsible for inspecting and reporting equipment failure, security breaks and environmental problems; performs preventive maintenance, minor repairs, housekeeping and laundry duties as assigned.
The Knox Center offers compassionate long-term nursing care services delivered by highly trained professionals. The Knox Center also provides specialized long-term care for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of memory loss.
