We are looking for a talented Makeup Artist who will combine his/her creative and technical expertise and passion to provide a professional and beautiful result.
Makeup Artist job description and responsibilities:
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and wants, i.e., Bridal, event, etc.
- Determine what lighting is needed
- Apply makeup in a professional and timely manner
- Detail oriented
- Work with other staff members (hair stylists, blo boss)
- Examine makeup materials at disposal and chose the best option
- Be experienced with retail product sales
- Stay up to date with latest best practices, tools and current trends in your field
- Be willing to travel to locations in the Jacksonville vicinity for Blo on the Go clients.
Qualifications: Must have a certificate of completion from an accredited makeup school and complete Blo U(niversity), a certificate program where you learn how to master Blo's signature makeup styles.
Compensation: hourly wage + tips + commission on retail sales + free blow outs (schedule permitting); wage increases offered by performance.
