The Cornucopia Foundation is seeking a Farmers Market Assistant for immediate hire. The Farmers Market Assistant will serve as the liason between the Farmers Market Manager and vendors and should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The Farmers Market Assistant will oversee the set up and break down of the market, collect fees, represent market management, ensure that vendors comply with all policies and rules of the market.
Training will be provided. This is a great opportunity for someone enthusiastic about sustainability to work with a local nonprofit that brings local foods and environmental education programs to the community.

Approximately Every Sunday, year round, 6:45AM - 3:30 PM
Must have holiday availability
Job Requirements:
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Ability to be tactful yet firm
● Must be able to lift 30 lbs
● One year commitment, must be able to work all 49/52 Sundays that the market is open
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $200.00 per week
