Duties include compiling and analyzing various statistical measures related to library collections and programs to ensure effective selection, arrangement and presentation of library materials; identifying and developing organizational performance measures and benchmarks; performing research and making reference recommendations; working extensively with library databases, and composing correspondence and a variety of documents and reports. Duties also include assisting with staff training; providing assistance to patrons online and in person; and providing backup coverage for other Library employees as needed. A Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in public or business administration or a related field and two years of library experience are required. Must have a high level of proficiency in MS Word and Excel; and the ability to research, compile and summarize a variety of informational and statistical data into comprehensive reports. PAY GRADE GG19 / FULL PAY RANGE $4,491 – $6,333 PER MONTH

  • Individuals hired into this position will receive $500 after their first 30 days of employment provided there are no documented attendance or disciplinary issues.
  • Employees that successfully complete their 6-month orientation period will receive an additional one-time payment of $500 provided there are no documented attendance or disciplinary issues.
  • Employees that successfully complete one year of employment without
    documented attendance or disciplinary issues will receive an additional one-time payment of $500.
  • The maximum amount of hiring incentive that an individual employee may receive is $1,500.
