Arcadis is seeking a Management Consultant to join our Technical Advisory Team in North America. The core responsibilities will largely relate to implementing solutions that will aid clients achieve their objectives related to the location, acquisition, maintenance, operations, and disposition across a portfolio of built assets. The successful candidate will aid clients in achieving asset management priorities such as investment portfolio optimization, energy conservation, carbon emission reduction, digitalization, and implementation of intelligent building technologies.

Role description:

The successful candidate will work independently as well as on teams staffed with architects, engineers, energy managers, IT professionals and other consultants from various backgrounds, locations, specialties, and experience levels. Some tasks, such as addressing requests for assistance, require a combination of technical and non-technical skills. In this position you will need a strong intellect, the ability to articulate complex ideas persuasively and a talent for establishing and solidifying relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Role accountabilities:

The position includes a high level of responsibility and accountability for the execution and delivery of management consulting activities within a developing specialist team.

  • Client engagement to deliver a variety of complex technical solutions for building retrofit, energy improvement, and smart building technology.
  • Technical delivery of asset management projects across various industries and asset classes to include industrial, technology, hospitality, multi-family residential, retail, automotive, aerospace, transportation, and public buildings.
  • Assist in the creation of Asset Management Plans and Strategic Asset Management Plans that align with industry standards and current regulatory requirements.
  • Perform analyses on large utility datasets such as: GIS (Geographic Information System), computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), condition inspection databases, capacity assessment/hydraulic modeling, etc.
  • Perform services on-site or off-site to support client staff performing their day-to-day activities such as planning/scheduling, condition assessment, capacity assessment, contractor management, technology implementation, etc.
  • Design and implement analytics and dashboard platforms.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, construction management, business administration, analytics, business intelligence, or related fields
  • Minimum of 5 years’ business experience, including experience in delivering analysis and insights along with experience working with analytics in the engineering domain.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a creative and innovative outlook

  • Experience in working with Agile methodology.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions.
