The Red Bull Culture Marketing team is responsible for building brand relevance through the execution of programs that give wings to creative communities focused in the playgrounds of music, dance, art, and social innovation. The purpose of the Manager, Culture Events is to support Red Bull's path to becoming the most aspiring brand through activating world class event marketing initiatives across our priority culture playgrounds. This role is responsible for collaborating with programming counterparts on the development of Red Bull titled live experiences within the Culture Marketing portfolio, as well as, supporting the regional teams in their execution. The MCM will work cross-functionally to ensure impactful, quality, and consistent event executions for the brand, our culture programs, and the artists we support.

  • EVENTS NETWORK

    Support regional team in the execution of globally relevant event properties

    Develop necessary guidelines and tools, in collaboration with programming and booking counterparts, to facilitate on-strategy executions of Titled Events within US

    Drive process to define and evaluate what success looks like across all Titled Big Moments through facilitation of project kick-off, post mortem, and recap exercises

    Serve as branding expert across events network working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the Red Bull brand is consistently, and appropriately, communicated

    Lead cross-departmental alignment with On-Premise sales to ensure clear ways of working across the entire events network

    Bring the can front in center through authentic and credible integrations in all that we do

  • EFFICIENT PLANNING AND RESOURCE ALLOCATION

    Manage external network of production and creative partners to ensure highest quality executions across our events network, including leading RFP and RFI process, as well as, vendor performance reviews

    Drive innovation within project management systems across events network, communicating recommendations for change to the Director, Culture Events & Booking

    Share best practices & learnings from titled event executions with the goals of driving efficiencies and inspiring innovation

    Serve as a ticketing expert, supporting a cross functional team of stakeholders to ensure events network maximizes opportunities for data analysis and incremental revenue

    Support the Communications team to achieve optimal media outcome

  • EFFECTIVE COLLABORATION AND MANAGEMENT

    Establish trust & accountability for the culture program at all levels of the organization by building strong cross-functional relationships and ways of working

    Lead the Region Culture Event Managers, consistently providing feedback to up-level overall event executions, as well as, individual skill sets

    Execute appropriate trainings in coordination with Director, Culture Events & Booking, to continually up level skillset of the Culture teams

EXPERIENCE

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:
  • 5 -7 years of event management experience, preferably overseeing a network of events in multiple markets
  • 3 - 5 years of experience producing music or dance events, preferably with strong understanding of live music venue operations
  • 3 - 5 years agency and/or direct brand marketing experience working with branded events
  • Aligned with the mission of Red Bull
  • Social Innovation and passionate about the programming and supporting those who drive positive change in their community
  • Thorough understanding of event production, marketing, and logistics
  • Proven track record of strong planning, organizational and project management competencies
  • Demonstrated innovative practices that take calculated risks
  • Ability to execute ideas with a focus on quantitative metrics to reach brand goals
  • Exceptional communication skills including active listening and clarity of voice
  • Salary range is $93,000 - $140,000 (Actual salary offer may vary based on experience) + incentives (bonus, car stipend or company vehicle)
