What the job is all about:
Along with the Coordinating Producer, the Managing Producer will oversee and support all facets of select on-site live event productions, control room based remote integration productions and studio-based productions originating from the Ross Production Services (RPS) control rooms. That includes pre-event planning, communication leading up to the event, day-of support during the event and after the event feedback.

More specifically, you will be:
  • Representing production team on select calls/meetings with clients, leagues, conferences, networks for assigned events/shows.
  • Communicating with clients, for select assigned events/shows, on all production needs and requirements. And, then sharing that information with production personnel leading-up-to the event/show.
  • Collaborating with RPS Operations Coordinators/Producers on select events/shows in gathering necessary production information and needs ahead of the event.
  • Assisting on Crewing Producers and Associate Directors for certain events, and taking a lead role in coordinating and crewing all “Support and Stats” based positions for announcers whether on-site or remote.
  • Work with Coordinating Producer in creating and managing a day-to-day Google-based “Production Content and Guidelines” document. This document will be a resource for production personnel to access specific information for their events (ex: Elements Reels, Animations, Graphics, Commercial Formats, Sales, Promos, etc.)
Who you are:
  • 5-7 years experience producing studio/control room shows and events
  • Experience producing studio/control room events/shows
  • Excellent management, planning, and problem-solving skills; attention to detail
  • Driven and self-motivated
  • Able to identify/assess risks and strategies to mitigate and escalate as necessary
  • Able to cope well and perform under pressure working to strict deadlines and schedules
  • Flexible and open to change.
  • Demonstrated communication skills
