General Description:
The Specialist performs various functions before, during, and after submitting reconciliation packages to clients. This position serves as backup to Clerical Support.
Essential Functions and Duties:
- Process manual check disbursements/replacements (issue, split/void/stop and reissue);
- Process Stop Payment requests;
- Process canceled check requests;
- Research and clear daily check register/bank posting exceptions (in Clearing Account Manager);
Additional Duties:
- Process private label/disbursement clearing wire/ACH transfers;
- Process disbursed check wire transfers (in Clearing Account Manager);
- Sort and file canceled checks on private label disbursement clearing accounts;
- Order and maintain department office supplies;
- Order and maintain files to/from record retention (including files temporarily stored in-house);
- Process over-night delivery packages (including occasional packages from Investor Accounting
- Perform other responsibilities and duties deemed necessary.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Clerical, Teller, General Office
- Excel and Word experience
- Above average typing, organizational, communication, and math skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
