PrideNow is hiring Battery Associates! This is a direct hire opportunity for one of our manufacturing clients in Richmond, CA. As a battery associate team member, you’ll be hands-on working to build battery storage systems safely with word class quality. Shift: 1st Shift with 6am start time

Job Duties:

• Work closely with the team leaders and supervisors to build/assemble class-leading mobile energy storage systems
• Work closely with other team members by ensuring all tools and material are ready prior to shift start
• Ensure all production related concerns or issues are communicated effectively to team leader and line supervision
• Train new employees on their required tasks
• Recommend and implement initiatives that improve safety, quality, or productivity
• Coordinate with management on work issues and enforce safety and housekeeping (5S) regulations

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge in various manufacturing processes (mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, fabrication, welding, painting, and support functions)
• Proven ability to lead people and support change
• Read and understand manufacturing instructions
• Ability to work various shifts as well as overtime hours
• Able to lift 25 pounds and up to 50 pounds in controlled environments
• Ability to maintain a safe working environment
• Ability to perform repetitive duties while standing for long periods of time
• Ability to follow standardized work

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $22 and $30 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other sponsored benefit programs offered by this client
