Responsibilities:
In this position you will support the initiatives as specified by the Quality Assurance group. This may include the following responsibilities:
- Assist the Accreditation Manager and Vice President of Quality in fulfilling accreditation activities.
- Support in the maintenance of the FM Approvals Quality Management System as required by accreditation programs such as ISO/IEC 17020, ISO/IEC 17025, ISO/IEC 17065, OSHA NRTL, etc.
- Support internal and external audit activities in support of the QMS and technical areas in accordance with accreditation requirements.
- Participate in continual improvement activities that support compliance and increase efficiency in the organization.
- Assist in the resolution of FM Approved related product issues as reported to FM Approvals by internal and external sources.
Qualifications:
- BS plus 7 years working in a Quality Assurance function or related experience.
- A technical degree in a relevant engineering program, or other related field is required.
- Knowledge of, and experience with, accreditations and quality management systems is preferred!
- The successful candidate should have demonstrated project management skills, superior written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency with programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
Skills/Knowledge:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.
- High level of technical capability.
- Strong analytical/problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written.
- Technical writing experience helpful.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
The hiring range for this position is $91,400 to $114,200 USD. The final salary offer will vary based on geographic location, individual education, skills, and experience.
