Manufacturing Supervisor
Job Description
Responsible for providing primary oversight, coordination, and communication across the CAPS NW facility. Also, manage all technologies, equipment, and activities related to the primary site activity of manufacturing of CAPS wall mounts. Responsible for managing site personnel, providing leadership, guidance, and responding to staffing needs. This position reports to the Fabrication General Manager.
Job Duties
- Abide by all safety rules and procedures; maintain safe and clean work environment by directing personnel on the use of PPE, control points, and equipment
- Organize and plan production activities and schedules
- Supervise all site personnel in the manufacture of CAPS wall mounts
- Direct workflow, expedite materials, and manage production resources
- Identify material/capacity constraints and resolve issues relating to manufacturing
- Work closely with all support organizations (Engineering, Sales, Quality) to resolve customer issues, mitigate delivery and schedule problems, and expedite materials
- Diagnose manufacturing problems recommending corrective and preventive actions
- Partner with Project Manager and other cross-functional team members to plan and execute the production schedule
- Identify training needs and prioritize training activities
- Plan and control daily operations including efficient scheduling and accurate and timely product manufacturing
- Identify, document, and implement procedures to reduce costs, eliminate waste, and improve overall efficiency
- Monitor (and drive) first line preventive maintenance activities

Requirements
- Five years experience as manufacturing supervisor
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and complex problems under time constraints
- Ability to work with employees and customers in a multi-cultural environment
- Basic skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
