Lakeside Book Company offers an incredible opportunity for growth, learning, experience, promotion. We are looking for new Manufacturing Technicians to grow our business, allowing us to make more books for our customers. As the largest bookmaker in the United States, you will help move the finished product out the door and into the hands of readers across the country. Internally, we call this job a Front End Utility.
Starting Rate: $20.00 per hour for day shift, $20.50 per hour for night shift
W
ork Hours: 12 hour rotating shifts; 4 days working followed by 4 days off. The hours are 7am-7pm and 7pm to 7am.
Location: We have 2 locations in Crawfordsville, IN: North Plant at 1009 Sloan Street; South Plant at 600 State Road 32 West. This job is for the South Plant.
As our Manufacturing Technician, you will:
- Set up, make-ready and monitor 2 stackers, 2 industrial robots and 1 palletizer.
- Assist team with machine printing functions as needed.
- Work in a team environment and cross-train with others.
- Receive training to help advance your career.
Qualifications:
- Previous Manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to lift and carry 20 to 60 pounds
- Ability to stand for the entire duration of your shift
